Eastern Region Tennis Association Junior Competition

There are two ERT seasons each year that run for approximately fourteen weeks each.

  • Summer Season from October to March
  • Winter Season from April to September
Exact dates can change, depending on when the school holidays fall. Competition tennis is played on either Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm or Sunday 9:00am-1:00pm depending on your preference. There are no games on long weekends or during school holidays.

If your child is interested in playing, please read the attached Junior Competition Information ( click here to download ) and contact the club either by email Juniors@serpelltennisclub.com.au or on the numbers listed on the information document.

Serpell Tennis Junior Camp

An annual camp is run for juniors who are in their final year of Primary School or the early years of Secondary School.

In April 2013 a group of 25 went to Alexandra in country Victoria for an overnight camp so they could emulate their Wimbledon heroes and play on grass tennis courts. The weekend enabled the juniors to play on the grass courts on both days with the opportunity to mix socially on the Saturday evening.

We have a number of teams entered over Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights in the BDNTA competition. If you would like to enquire about joining a team or entering a new team, please email Night@serpelltennisclub.com.au.

This popular competition is open to all full members.

Night tennis

We have several teams playing mid week competition.

Please contact the club by email Seniors@serpelltennisclub.com.au if you would like to form or join a team.

In addition to Night Competition, Serpell enters teams into several Eastern Region Tennis competitions which are held on weekends. Both doubles and singles/doubles formats are available.

Please email Seniors@serpelltennisclub.com.au for further details.
